Digital Ayushmaan Bharat mission is launched by PM Modi for the entire country on 27 September 21, Monday. It was implemented on a pilot basis in six Union Territories – Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Chandigarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep, and Puducherry. Under this mission, a unique digital health ID will be provided to the countrymen.
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Health Mission will be utilizing the JAM trinity – Jan Dhan, Aadhaar, and Mobile. This will help to create a digital platform and enable storage, access, and exchange of health records of Indians with health advisories.
These electronic medical records of all citizens can then be linked with the account and Healthcare Professional Registry (HPR) and can be view with the help of a mobile app. The Healthcare Professional Registry (HPR) and Healthcare Facilities Registries (HFR) will be providing the database of all healthcare providers including both modern and traditional systems of drugs.
PM Modi said, this initiative will “simplify the procedures in hospitals” and will also “increase the ease of living”.At present, the use of technology is very limited. A patient has to carry files and records for several years and if the patient does not have their medical records at the time of going to the hospital, the medical, examination, consultation has got to begin from temperature, it’s to be started afresh
With this mission, doctors and hospitals will be able to provide remote health services with effective and reliable data. This will improve medication and also save sufferers.PM said, health records of each citizen are going to be digitally protected, and therefore the poor and the bourgeoisie will benefit the foremost from this mission.
The prime minister denoted out that the AarogyaSetu app and Co-WIN application portal played a big role in preventing the spread of the coronavirus infection and administer about 90 crore vaccine doses.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission will create a coherent online platform by providing a wide range of information, data, and infrastructure services, compatible, standards-based digital systems while ensuring the preservation, confidentiality, and isolation of health-related personal information.
